Surrender

“Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.”
Philippians 4:6-7

This passage simply means that if you put your trust in God, you won’t have to worry about anything.

Peace

Doesn’t anyone in this world just want that beautiful and absolutely pure peace? And by peace I mean no worries, no problems, and no anything that give you a headache. Doesn’t that sound… nice?

In God that is possible, because through the problems and the trials, He will stand by your side. Assuring you that everything is in His hands. God is in control. And once we realize that, we feel this peace. This peace in which we trust in Him and surrender to Him all of our worries, our doubts, our fears. This peace, no one will ever understand. 

Waves

Don’t get me wrong. There will always be problems and there will always be pain. But with God, everything will be easier, lighter, and better. Once you learn to trust God in everything you do, you will no longer feel troubled by anything. Because God is the God of the army of angels, God is the God of the universe of all universes; He is a God that is so much bigger than anything you can ever face.

And we belong to this God; A God who is mighty and indestructible.

Do you still feel troubled? Surrender. Let His peace fill you up.

I get asked quite often why things are happening to certain people. "Why do I have this?" or "Why do I have that?" Why does God let people have these problems? This is because He wants to show us that without Him, we are nothing by ourselves. People tend to think that they can control everything and anything. They forget about God. But you must remember that once you can't stand on your own to feet anymore, kneel. Kneel before God. Once you let Him have control over your life, everything will change.

Everything is done for a reason. Every problem is there for a purpose. Seek God and you will see that purpose.

Conclusion

Pray. Talk to God. Surrender and all will be taken cared of. You may not notice or feel it, but He’s making everything better.

You belong to Him. And you are worthy of peace. Surrender all and your load will be lighter.

The load will get lighter because He is with you, carrying it as well.
