Manipulation and Addiction

Games are entertainment used as an escape from reality. Similar to books, games are made to toy with people's feelings and manipulate them into becoming emotions of accomplishment. A lot of people get addicted to games because of the feelings they acquire when playing them. Games may be harmful and they may be benefitial. Overall, games are meant to be played.

Useless Parchment

"Some people are so poor the only thing they have is money."
-Anonymous

Gunshot

First Verse:
Breathing in acceptance,
Trying to resist the force clawing in
Beating through my chest.

Saying my byes to the skies.
I pushed away the cries begging me to turn back.

No, I said, facing the last step
One more push, one more risk.

Pre-chorus:
The moment I saw you, arms extended, love tainted
I'll never regret what I committed, I'm a willing victim.

Chorus:
Drown me into a new life.
Using your wings, take me within.

Guard me inside of your arms, what I was robbed of
Fill me with your love.

No more fear, no turning back
I'll be born anew from the ashes
I'll live again, restart my tracks

Taller, stronger, I'm a warrior.

I'll begin again, I'll begin again, it's true.
I'll begin again, I'll begin again, with you.

Second verse:
Crashing waves beneath me, just one jump will end.
A fresh new start, a change I can see.

I stole a glance from that life
The unhappiness sighs
Mistake after mistake.

Regret after regret, my deeds were set.
I won't go back, no I won't go back.

(chorus repeated twice)

The Comfort Room

My thighs are like bicycles
My arms are like rocks
My head is stuck in traffic
My heart holds blood that as dark as night
I live in fantasy
I feed on imagination

Time in a Song

A Candle Light in a World Full of Gloom

The blood she was born from was long gone before I was brought to this earth.
Made up of pure light, she knew nothing about sins or dirt.
Neither ashes nor dust were found from her for she simply vanished into thin air.
Yet her footprints that were left… reeked humbleness in perfection as one would ever dare.

She may not know me then for she lived many lifetimes before me,
But I am assured that she understood who I am, because I know she can see.
A million diamonds wouldn’t know her and what she was worth,
For she was one of the most priceless jewels that ever walked this earth.

She lived with Him by her side her whole life.
It is like how one would live with the sun on her feet and the horizon in sight.
She danced in the cleanest waters and walked the purest path.
Creatures from below were enraged for she will never feel their wrath.

She is who I want to be; an angel in the body of human,
Her heart was as deep as oceans and her soul was brighter than the sun.
She spoke with her actions and defeated invisible wars,
She was true, fair, and magnificent than all of the stars.

She is who I will become in every movement I will carry.
I will be like you, I assure you, Mother Mary.
In your deeds I will live in and in your life I will reflect.
I will pay your story with love and my out most respect.

And when I do succeed to follow the footsteps you left,
I will inspire other people to follow you too, even after my last breath.
I promise they will love you too, Mother Mary.
I will do everything in my power for them to see you in me.
